Percy back at fly half for Baa Baas' clash
December 7, 2000

Gaffie du Toit will step up into the full-back position for South Africa when they end their tour of Britain and Ireland with a match against the Barbarians in Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on Sunday.

The last line of defence has proved a problem position for the tourists.
First choice full back Thinus Delport suffered concussion during the
Springboks' 23-13 win over Wales at the Millennium Stadium last month.

This meant Percy Montgomery had to revert to the No 15 shirt during South
Africa's 25-17 defeat by England last Saturday. However, he now returns to his favoured spot at outside half.

There are other changes in the tourists' back division. Crowd favourite Chester Williams starts on the left wing in place of Stefan Terblanche with Braam van Straaten moving to inside centre instead of Japie Mulder.

Springboks coach Harry Viljoen has, however, made no changes to his pack.
The clash between the Springbok back row of captain Andre Vos and flankers
Andre Venter and Corne Krige and the Barbarians back three of Lawrence
Dallaglio (England), Jim Williams (Australia) and Ron Cribb (New Zealand), should be something to see.
