Robinson likely to miss Crusaders' Super 12 start
January 21, 2001

The All Black centre Mark Robinson is again facing the prospect of a disrupted start to the 2001 season.

The Canterbury Crusaders and former Cambridge Blue missed the first six weeks of the 2000 campaign before returning in such scintillating form that he forced his way into the All Black squad and subsequently made his All Black debut.

His NPC season was curtailed, however, by achilles tendon problems which necessitated surgery . There has been a slight setback in his rehabilitation which means that he is not expected to be ready for duty until round four of Super 12.

The Crusaders begin their quest for a fourth consecutive title with a trip to Canberra to play the Brumbies, a replay of the 2000 final.
