Mains plays waiting game

Cats coach Laurie Mains has pencilled in three centres and two scrumhalves for their Super 12 match against the Stormers at Newlands on Saturday.

Two of Japie Mulder, Grant Esterhuizen and Eugene Meyer will take the field against the Stormers, while either Jimmy Powell or Chad Alcock will replace the injured Werner Swanepoel.

The players are not injured, Mains is taking weather conditions into consideration before he finalises the team. He will make a decision either Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.
