ACT lose Roff, but gain Larkham
March 19, 2001

The Brumbies are hopeful Wallaby flyhalf Stephen Larkham will finally make it back to the field for Saturday's game against the Stormers.

With form winger Joe Roff expected to miss the next month after straining ankle ligaments during the clash against the Bulls on Saturday night, the Brumbies will need Larkham's guidance against the dangerous South Africans.

Larkham has been sidelined for almost seven weeks with a hamstring injury and has had several false starts in recent weeks. But officials are confident this weekend will see Larkham running out on Bruce Stadium. He is now running at 100 per cent and is expected to take in a full training schedule this week.

Roff is not expected to return until the game against the Waratahs in Canberra on April 13. The same game that Wallaby lock David Giffin has set out as his return from a broken ankle.

Utility James Holbeck is the other main injury concern for the Wallabies with a hamstring strain, while fullback Andrew Walker is expected to recover from a cork to his buttock and is not in doubt for Saturday.
