Larkham a definite starter

Wallaby and Brumbies flyhalf Stephen Larkham is a definite starter for Saturday night's Super 12 clash against the Stormers in Canberra.

It will be Larkham's first appearance on the field in this year's Super 12 after a slow recovery from a hamstring injury. Larkham's return to the field is timely for the Brumbies after they lost utility back Joe Roff to injury last weekend.

"Everything went well this week, the first time in six weeks, so I'm pretty pumped to have a good game now," Larkham said. "I'm hoping for 80 minutes, but Eddie Jones is well aware that I might struggle out there, so he's got the reserves ready."

Jones has opted for Mark Bartholomeusz to replace Roff at fullback, while former Waratah Graeme Bond and Andrew Walker are likely to play on the wing.

Bartholomeusz has previously come up against Stormers speedster Breyton Paulse at Under 21 level and is well aware of the danger in the opposition backline.
