Saracens welcome back Richard Hill and Brent Russell to their starting line-up for Sunday's Guinness Premiership clash against Harlequins at Vicarage Road.

In what promises to be a fiercely contested London derby, Gaffney welcomes back the two internationals as Saracens look to build on their fourth place in the competition.

Hill returns after being rested for last week's clash at Newcastle Falcons while full back Russell has shaken off a thigh injury. In other team news, Adam Powell comes in for the injured Andy Farrell with Kris Chesney and Nick Lloyd both come back into the starting line-up. Second row Tom Ryder is also given an opportunity to start ahead of Hugh Vyvyan who is rested following the birth of his daughter earlier in the week.

Gaffney will be looking for an improvement in the accuracy and performance levels of his players against Harlequins following last weekend's defeat against Newcastle.

"The players have reacted well this week," he explained. "We've been able to get results in the past month or so without playing to the levels which we know we are capable of. We've not been accurate enough in terms of our execution. We've been creating a number of opportunities in games but we're just not putting them away - something which we have focused on this week."

And Gaffney added that home form will be vital in the Premiership run-in as sides battle for a place in the end of season play-offs.

He said: "We've got five home games remaining in the Premiership and we'll need to win all of those and probably a few on the road to stay in the hunt. There's a tough road ahead but that's the same for all of the clubs.

"That said, I still believe we are playing some pretty good rugby but we need to set the bar even higher now. That's what we've talked about with the players this week and that's what we'll be aiming to do on Sunday."
