Dominiko Waqaniburotukula is a versatile forward who is equally at home in either the second or back row.
Waqaniburotukula only made Fiji debut in June 2010, against the Wallabies in Canberra, but he took to international rugby like a duck to water and retained his place at lock for the Pacific Nations Cup clash with Japan the following weekend.
He went on to start Fiji's subsequent tournament outings against Tonga and Samoa, scoring his first international try against the former, but he was utilised on both occasions at blindside flanker.
Waqaniburotukula did not travel for the end-of-season tour of Europe but he returned to the side, at No.8, the following July in the Pacific Nations Cup meeting with Tonga. However, he was switched back to flanker for the game against Japan and was at No.6 that he was named for the Test with the All Blacks later in the month.
