France boss Philippe Saint-Andre has included Racing Metro flyer Benjamin Fall in the 24-man squad for their match with Samoa on Saturday. France are going into the match on the back of two impressive wins over Australia and Argentina but will be coming up against the unpredictable quantity of Samoa who beat Wales last Friday. And with doubts surrounding the fitness of Brice Dulin, Fall has been retained by France. But while Fall has remained with the Test squad, Perpignan lock Sebastien Vahaamahina, Toulon flanker Pierrick Gunther and Toulouse centre Gael Fickou were sent back to their club side but Saint-Andre was pleased with their impact in training as they filled in for some sidelined players. "It allowed us to have the right working conditions and to prepare well for the next match despite the absent players," said Saint-Andre. "For these young players who are discovering the France team, it's good to be part of the group. They learn about the team and life in the group." Their opponents Samoa are currently monitoring the fitness of fullback Paul Williams, Dan Leo and Faatoina Autagavaia who all missed training on Tuesday.
