The Cheetahs remain in sight of a first appearance in the Super Rugby playoffs after easing to a 26-12 win over the Southern Kings on Saturday. Tries by wingers Raymond Rhule and Willie le Roux and flanker Lappies Labuschagne set up the Cheetahs' seventh win in ten games, taking them back into the top six in what is shaping up to be their best campaign. As part of the Cats franchise, the Cheetahs made the semifinals over a decade ago, but haven't been contenders since. Rhule sped away in the seventh minute, Labuschagne was involved twice in an attack in the 31st, and Le Roux darted in early in the second half. The Kings' points came from four penalty goals by Demetri Catrakilis. The Cheetahs have now won seven of 10 matches and have the finals in sight (video available in Australia only)
