The Stormers have made three changes to their starting forward pack to face the Blues at North Harbour Stadium in Auckland on Friday.

Frans Malherbe returns at tight-head prop in place of Pat Cilliers while openside flanker Siya Kolisi replaces injured Michael Rhodes, with loose forward Rynhardt Elstadt shifting across to the blindside. Coach Allister Coetzee has also named two fit-again Springboks on his reserve bench for the match at North Harbour Stadium - lock Eben Etzebeth and five-eighth Elton Jantjies. Etzebeth hasn't played this season after injuring an ankle in pre-season match.

The 10th-placed Stormers have won their past two games, including last weekend's 18-16 defeat of the Hurricanes in Palmerston North.

Stormers: Joe Pietersen; Gio Aplon, Juan de Jongh, Jean de Villiers (captain), Bryan Habana; Gary van Aswegen, Dewaldt Duvenage; Duane Vermeulen, Rynhardt Elstadt, Siya Kolisi; Andries Bekker, De Kock Steenkamp; Frans Malherbe, Deon Fourie, Steven Kitshoff. Replacements: Scarra Ntubeni, Pat Cilliers, Eben Etzebeth, Nizaam Carr, Louis Schreuder, Elton Jantjies, Damian de Allende.
