Martin Landajo has been cited for alleged foul play during Argentina's 54-17 Rugby Championship loss to Australian in Rosario.

The citing commissioner took action against the Pumas scrum-half for alleged stomping after reviewing footage of an incident in which he made contact with Australia winger Adam Ashley-Cooper and hooker Saia Faingaa at a breakdown.

Match referee Wayne Barnes spoke to Landajo after awarding a penalty for a tackle infringement.

Landajo will now face a judicial hearing.
