Harlequins have announced the signing of Fiji international back Aseli Tikoirotuma on a two-year contract.

The 27-year-old Tikoirotuma will join the club in August when his Super Rugby commitments with Waikato Chiefs end. He has been part of the Chiefs' Super Rugby title-winning teams in the last two seasons, scoring 11 tries in 33 appearances. He made his Fiji debut last year, featuring at outside centre.

"Aseli is one of the most exciting backs in world rugby, and we are delighted that he has signed for us," Quins rugby director Conor O'Shea said. "He comes from a winning culture at the Chiefs, is equally at home on the wing or at centre, and I am sure will fit seamlessly into the way we play here and add to the quality we already have."
