Toulon's Guilhem Guirado has been added to France's 30-man elite squad for the 2014-15 season.

The hooker takes the place of Hugo Bonneval who ruptured knee ligaments during France's series against Australia in the summer and he will be out of action until the New Year. Under a new agreement brought in by the French Rugby Federation (FFR) in accordance with Ligue Nationale de Rugby, the body in charge of the Top 14, France's elite players will be restricted to 30 matches this season.

That number consists of internationals, Top 14 matches and pre-season games but European games are exempt. If a player runs out for less than 20 minutes, that does not count towards the quota.
