Munster have suffered a triple injury blow ahead of their match away at Glasgow this weekend.

Winger Gerhard van der Heever picked up cruciate ligament damage against Clermont in round three of the European Champions Cup and will undergo surgery at the end of the month. His fellow back Johnny Holland picked up a torn hamstring against Nottingham and is out for six months.

In the forwards prop Dave Kilcoyne is out for between six to eight weeks with a knee injury which was also sustained against Clermont Auvergne. Hooker Mike Sherry has also gone under the knife last Monday in what was his third shoulder operation following his second in August.
