England winger Marland Yarde has signed a new contract with Harlequins.

Yarde, who has seven England caps, joined Quins in 2014 from London Irish and has made 30 appearances and scored nine tries to date. "I am really happy to have re-signed for Harlequins for the next few seasons," Yarde said. "Since joining, I've enjoyed being part of a great team with some exceptional players. We have a side that is truly capable of beating anyone and I'm excited to be a part of that.

"We have started this season well and I'm pleased with my personal form; it was a very easy decision to make."

Harlequins director of rugby, Conor O'Shea added: "Marland is a young man with boundless potential and we will work with him to make sure he fulfils it.

"He combines pace, power, physicality and footwork allied to the fact that he is a good footballer. We are delighted that Marland has committed and know within this group he will go from strength to strength."
