The home of Manchester United, Old Trafford is one of the most famous grounds in the world of football.

The stadium, which was opened in 1910 and now boasts a capacity of 75,811, has a long association with rugby league. Indeed, Old Trafford has staged the Super League final every year since the play-off system was first introduced in 1998.

However, it has previously hosted two rugby internationals. The ground got its first taste of Test rugby on November 22, 1997 when a New Zealand side featuring the legendary Jonah Lomu recorded a 25-8 win over England. Argentina were England's opponents when rugby returned to Old Trafford 11 years later.

Nicknamed 'The Theatre of Dreams', the stadium is no stranger to hosting major events, having been used as a venue for the 1966 World Cup and Euro 1996 as well as the 2003 Champions League final and the 2000 Rugby League World Cup final.
