Leicester Tigers signed hooker Benjamin Kayser from Stade Français in summer 2007.
Kayser played for Stade as a replacement in the Heineken Cup final defeat by Toulouse in May 2005, and for the France A team and the Under 21 and Under 19 in world championships before making his Test debut with two substitute appearances against Australia on tour in June 2008.
He would go on to feature as a replacement in all three November clashes against Argentina, Pacific Islanders and Australia. Kayser made his debut for Leicester away to Bristol in the Guinness Premiership on September 16, 2007. He joined Tigers fresh from victory in the French Championship Final in 2007 as Stade beat Clermont Auvergne 23-18.
He later returned to Stade for a second spell but after failing to secure regular game-time either in the front or back-rows he joined their Top 14 rivals Castres.
