Argentinean lock Galarza signed for Leinster in the summer of 2010 but left later in the season to ply his trade for the Argentine side Pampas XV who were taking part in the Vodacom Cup.

Bringing a dynamism to the Argentinian second-row, Galarza - a student of medicine - was a surprise call-up to the Pumas squad for the 2008 tour to Europe. And he continued his impressive form and won a place in the Pumas' squad for the 2011 World Cup.

Further caps followed and in September 2013, Galarza announced he was swapping the Pampas for the Worcester Warriors after signing for Dean Ryan's side.
