The second round of the Anglo-Welsh Cup will see a high-profile bow, as Leicester Tigers hand a first start to former Australia international wing Lote Tuqiri against Newport Gwent Dragons on Saturday. Tuqiri is joined in the starting line-up by England lock Ben Kay, who skippers the side. Toby Flood makes his long-awaited comeback from injury on the bench.

The action kicks-off at Edgeley Park on Friday, when Sale Sharks host the Tigers' conquerors Leeds Carnegie. Henry Paul starts in the centre for Leeds and will be up against England cast-off Mathew Tait.

Bath and Ospreys meet at the Rec, with both sides struggling to get going so far this season. Luke Watson will make finally his debut for Bath off the bench while 20 year-old Justin Tipuric who captained the Wales U20 squad at the 2009 IRB Junior World Championship makes his starting debut for the Ospreys.

Northampton Saints host Guinness Premiership leaders Saracens at Franklins Gardens and will be looking to build on their win over the Ospreys last week. Juandre Kruger returns to the starting line-up after sitting out through suspension for Jim Mallinder's side while Sarries hand debuts to prop Kasiano Lealamanua and second-row George Kruis while wing James Short makes his first full start after coming off the bench last week against Bath.

Scarlets prop Deacon Manu is away on international duty with Fiji and misses the visit of Worcester. In all there are 11 changes to the Warriors team that beat Newcastle. The Worcester coach Mike Ruddock has said that he's looking forward to an 'open and expansive game.'

Cardiff Blues come off a win tight win over Gloucester last week and will be looking to build on that as they welcome London Irish to Cardiff City Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Irish retain the same side that went down to Wasps last week, Peter Richards continues as captain.

Paul Sackey starts as captain for Wasps against Gloucester. Jack Wallace makes his first senior start in place of Mark van Gisbergen and England international Simon Shaw starts at lock. Peter Buxton, Olly Morgan and Nick Wood all return for Gloucester.

Newcastle make five changes to their side for Harlequins' visit to Kingston Park Tom Biggs replaces winger Uche Oduoza and fit-again centre Spencer Davey replaces Alex Tait. Tim Swinson, Josh Afu and Ed Williamson return up front. Scrum-half Karl Dickson and hooker Matt Cairns make their first starts for a Harlequins.
