Declan Kidney has named four uncapped players in the Ireland side to take on the Barbarians at Thomond Park on Friday. Leinster centre Fergus McFadden gets his chance to impress in midfield prior to a taxing tour of Australia and New Zealand, with Ronan O'Gara leading the side alongside long-time halfback partner Peter Stringer. The remaining new faces are in the pack, where Ulster locks Ed O'Donoghue and Dan Tuohy form the second-row partnership and Munster's Niall Ronan starts at openside. Marcus Horan returns to the front-row, where he is joined by Munster colleague Tony Buckley and Connacht hooker Sean Cronin. On the bench, Leinster's Jonny Sexton and Munster's Tomas O'Leary will provide halfback support while Munster back-rower David Wallace and hooker Jerry Flannery provide extra grunt up front.
