Jonny Wilkinson has been recognised as the top fly-half in French rugby after making the Top 14 mid-season dream team.

The England and Toulon No.10 is named alongside former Leeds second-row Erik Lund, who now plays for Biarritz, in the XV selected by French paper Midi Olympique to mark the midway point of the season.

Wilkinson, who is the second highest points scorer in Test history, has been in impressive form for Toulon this season, especially after returning from a shoulder injury that kept him out of England's autumn internationals against New Zealand, Australia, Samoa and South Africa.

Toulouse, the form team in the Top 14, lead the way with four representatives including Yannick Jauzion, Maxime Médard, Cencus Johnston and William Servat. Reigning Champions Clermont Auvergne, who are currently struggling in seventh, have no players in the side.

Former Leeds and Leicester centre Seru Rabeni has also been included in the XV at outside centre after a successful switch to La Rochelle.

The Midi Olympique Dream Team: Romain Teulet (Castres), Yoann Huget (Bayonne), Seru Rabeni (La Rochelle), Yannick Jauzion (Toulouse), Maxime Médard (Toulouse), Jonny Wilkinson (Toulon), Dimitri Yachvili (Biarritz), Andrea Lo Cicero (Racing Metro), William Servat (Toulouse), Cencus Johnston (Toulouse), Erik Lund (Biarritz), Pascal Pape (Stade Francais), Gerhard Vosloo (Brive), Mamuka Gorgodze (Montpellier), Chris Masoe (Castres)
