Stade Francais have been spared administrative relegation from the Top 14 after providing new guarantees to the league's financial watchdogs.

The Parisian club was threatened with demotion over a reported €6million budget shortfall, with the Direction Nationale d'Aide et de Contrôle de Gestion (DNACG) deliberating over the case for several weeks. The club was bailed out by an injection of €12m from FACEM, a Canadian foundation.

Stade supremo Max Guazzini will hold a press conference alongside Bernard Laporte on Tuesday, with further signings expected to be announced.

The club has already confirmed the capture of Toulon playmaker Felipe Contepomi, while it is widely expected that former England wing Paul Sackey will be unveiled after he sported a club sock in the Barbarians' victory over England last weekend.

Press reports in France also suggest that Gavin Henson is on the club's hitlist, with the Wales centre currently without a club following his release by Toulon.
