Saturday's meeting is the eighth time Argentina have faced Romania and the second World Cup clash between the two sides.

Their inaugural meeting came in Buenos Aires back in 1973 with the Pumas prevailing in a dire match 15-9. They had hooker Juan Dumas to thank with the hooker scoring the sole try of the match.

Since then, though, Argentina have dealt with Romania with ease - bar their 1992 clash when the Romanians came within three points of a major upset in Bucharest. And they met in the 2003 World Cup where the Pumas made light work of their Romanian counterparts. Argentina went 24-0 up at half-time and try as they might, all the Romanian's could muster was three points in the second-half. The Argentinean's ran out 50-3 victors with seven tries to their name.

That was the last time the two sides met but having crossed the 50 point mark in three of their seven match-ups, Argentina will hope to take advantage of the prevailing wind.
