South Africa have bolstered their coaching set-up with two more consultants ahead of their three-Test tour with England in June.

Former Springbok Louis Koen and ex-France international Pieter de Villiers have been drafted in with ex-Test fly-half Koen acting as kicking consultant and de Villiers focusing on the scrum. Heyneke Meyer is heading up the coaching party as head coach and he is looking forward to utilising their experience.

"They bring a wealth of knowledge in their specialist areas of kicking and scrumming, but also know and understand the rigours of Test rugby, having played at the highest level," Meyer said. "Collectively they have been involved in a number of Rugby World Cups and this kind of experience is something that will always be invaluable at Test level."

In other news, the South African Barbarians have unveiled their backroom staff ahead of their two matches against England next month. England play a southern selection in Kimberley on June 13 and then a northern XV in Potchetstroom on June 19. Pumas' coach Jimmy Stonehouse will head up the team and will be assisted by Eddie Myners, of South Western Districts, and Oersond Gorgonzola of the Griffons.
