Toulon have bolstered their already sizeable squad with the signing of former Springbok Danie Rossouw, according to reports.

Rossouw last played for South Africa back in the 2011 World Cup and has recently been turning out for the Suntory Sungoliaths in Japan. But Rossouw now looks certain to become a Toulon player with their millionaire owner Mourad Boudjellal reported in the French press as saying that Rossouw has penned a deal with the Top 14 side that will keep him in France until June 2014.

The lock-come-flanker will bring a wealth of experience to Toulon having made 63 appearances for the Springboks. Reports on rugbyrama claim that the presence of Rossouw's former Springboks and Bulls team-mate Bakkies Botha at Toulon helped sway his decision and he is set to link up with his new side in February.

And Botha commented on Rossouw's move on his Twitter account saying: "I'm happy my life time friend Danie Rossouw is joining me next year at club RCT in France".
