Maxime Medard will play his second match in four days in New Zealand, having been named as the only member of the starting Test team to face the Blues at North Harbour Stadium on Tuesday.

Medard, who started on the left wing in France's 23-13 defeat in the first Gallaher Cup Test at Eden Park in Auckland, will play at fullback against the Blues. Centre Gael Fickou has recovered from a shoulder injury to take his place in a side that features four players from French club champions Castres.

Veteran prop Nicolas Mas has shaken a knee injury to play, while coach Philippe Saint-Andre has also given starts to hooker Guilhem Guirado, lock Alexandre Flanquart, half-back Jean Marc Doussain and centre Maxime Mermoz, who all came off the bench in the Test defeat.
