Hayden Smith back at Saracens after spell in NFL

Saracens have announced that Hayden Smith has rejoined the club after spending 18 months as a tight end with the New York Jets.

Smith, who has been capped 18 times by the USA, made the move to the NFL in 2012 but made only six appearances for the Jets.

"It's fantastic to be back," he said. "I learned a huge amount in the NFL, various elements that will help me become a better rugby player, but there is nothing like the Saracens environment and I am now completely focussed on working hard and helping the squad achieve all our goals."
