Nick Abendanon is determined to deliver silverware to Bath before his move to Top 14 side Clermont Auvergne.

Abendanon, who has been at Bath since 2005, will move to France at the end of the season. But there is still plenty to play for in his final month in the West Country, with Bath fighting for trophies on two fronts.

On Sunday they face Wasps in the Amlin Challenge Cup semi-finals, while Saturday's hard-fought win over Worcester has taken them a step closer to securing an Aviva Premiership play-off spot.

"That would be the icing on the cake for me. To get into both finals is something that would be a fantastic achievement for this team, especially a young team coming through and doing so well," Abendanon told the Daily Telegraph.

"On a personal note in my last year at the Rec and in the Bath shirt there would not be a better opportunity to win silverware."

Bath sit third in the Premiership table, level on points with Leicester. Both teams are chasing second-placed Northampton and the chance of a home play-off.

"It's a very emotional time. I take as long as I can now to soak in the atmosphere at the Rec," he said. "It's going to be tough to leave this place because it has been my home for 10 years and I have come to love it," Abendanon said.

"It's going to be a hell of a change going out to Clermont but it's something that I am looking forward to and it's going to be a fantastic challenge."
