England hooker Dylan Hartley has been nominated for the Aviva Community Player of the Season award.

Hartley features on a six-man shortlist that includes two players from Northampton and one from Bath, Saracens, Newcastle Falcons and Worcester Warriors. Hartley's Saints team-mate Dom Waldouck gets the nod alongside Saracens' Jamie George, Worcester's Dean Schofield, Newcastle's Tane Tu'ipulotu and Bath's Matt Gilbert.

"Premiership Rugby's community work is lucky to be supported by over 600 professional players across our clubs, who look to enthuse and inspire communities while acting as fantastic role models to young local people. From that huge group, these six have emerged following exceptional seasons off the field to make it on to this shortlist," said Premiership Rugby's community and CSR director, Wayne Morris.

"We are very proud of our community programmes and of the efforts from all of the players involved. Picking the winner will be very difficult as they have all produced compelling cases."
