Ryan Wilson will miss Scotland's summer Tests due to a shoulder injury.

Wilson, who has nine caps for Scotland, picked up the injury in training and has undergone surgery. The Glasgow Warriors have said he is "expected to be out of action for several months". The news will see the back-row sidelined for Glasgow's PRO12 final and Scotland's four-Test summer programme which sees them play USA, Canada, Argentina and South Africa.

Glasgow Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend said: "We're all disappointed for Ryan that he'll miss the final in a couple of weeks. Thankfully it's not the same shoulder he injured last summer, but it's a setback for him after he's had another very good season with us. We wish him all the best with his rehab."
