France have launched the search for Philippe Saint-Andre's successor.

Applicants have until April 25 to apply 'by registered mail' and have been asked to put forward their game plan and who they would want in their backroom staff. Saint-Andre is set to leave his post as head coach after the World Cup.

Saint-Andre's position has come under increased threat in recent times after another mediocre Six Nations. His overall record as France coach is 15 wins in 37.

At present Raphael Ibanez is the clear favourite to replace Saint-Andre with reports suggesting he will add ex-England flanker Joe Worsley to the French coaching team. Other names include Guy Noves, Fabien Pelous and Fabien Galthie. The new France coach will take up the reins on November 1 and will be confirmed in May.
