O'Cuinneagain to miss season opener
July 20, 2000

Ballymena and Ulster back row forward Dion O'Cuinneagain will miss the province's build up to the Interprovincial Championship after suffering an injury in training.

The former Ireland Captain is certain to miss the first warm up game against Leicester in Omagh on August 5th after dislocating a bone in his left wrist during line out practice.

He was immediately taken to hospital where the prognosis suggested that he could be out for up to a month. "I would say he'd be out for four to five weeks but I'm hoping he should be fit for the Interprovincials," revealed Ulster coach Harry Williams.
