Blues Spice up their life

Cardiff Blues have recruited scrum-halves Jason Spice and Richie Rees to their squad for next season.

New Zealander Spice joins from Blues' Welsh regional rivals the Ospreys, and travels in the opposite direction to Wales international Mike Phillips.

Phillips has signed a lucrative six-figure deal with the Ospreys, and will link up with them from the Arms Park outfit this summer.

Rees, meanwhile, moves to Cardiff from London Irish, where he has been part of their squad in domestic and European competitions this term.
