The national selectors have announced the Springbok Sevens team to play in the final two tournaments of the 2006/7 IRB Sevens World Series.

The London tournament takes place on 26 - 27 May, with the final tournament a week later on 2 - 3 June in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Utility back Gcobani Bobo is the new captain while Andries Strauss, Deon Fourie and MJ Mentz will all be making their international debuts.

Coach Paul Treu and his team will depart on Sunday evening for London.

South Africa is currently fourth on the Series log behind leaders Fiji, Samoa and New Zealand.
