Italy play host to Argentina in Torino this weekend hoping that they can secure back-to-back victories over the Pumas for the first time.

Argentina lead the all-time series with nine victories to the Azzurri's five since their first clash in Rovigo in 1978 that the hosts won 19-6. They have also drawn once with the sides battling to an 18-18 stalemate at the Antoine Beguere Stadium in 1997.

Italy upset Argentina with a controversial 13-12 win in Cordoba earlier this where a last-gasp try from Leonardo Ghiraldini and conversion from Andrea Marcato saw them snatch victory. That success ended a run of three defeats at the hands of the Pumas.

Both sides come into the contest hoping to bounce back from narrow defeats - Italy went down 30-20 to Australia last weekend while Argentina were edged out 12-6 by France.
