Clermont Auvergne have announced the signing of Castres and All Blacks scrum-half Kevin Senio. Senio has signed a two-year deal with Clermont only weeks after it was announced that France scrum-half Morgan Parra would be joining the club.

Clermont have been in the market as Pierre Mignoni will join his hometown club Toulon at the end of the season, and Senio's older brother John is approaching the end of his contract.

Senio made a single appearance for the All Blacks against Australia in 2005, and has also represented the Junior All Blacks. During his provincial career in New Zealand he represented Bay of Plenty, Canterbury, Counties Manukau and Auckland, playing Super Rugby for the Crusaders and Chiefs before joining Castres in 2007.
