Western Force winger Cameron Shepherd is facing a possible suspension after being called before an Australian Rugby Union (ARU) disciplinary tribunal, having been allegedly caught drink driving with a suspended driver's licence. The 26-year-old has been charged by Western Australian Police for the incident, which occurred last month, and is awaiting notification from the court as to the date of his hearing. The ARU disciplinary tribunal will consider the court's determination and will convene if required following completion of the legal process, which is expected to be finalised within the coming months. Shepherd will continue to train with the Force in preparation for the 2011 Super 15 season. He signed for the franchise in 2005, having first come to the fore with the Waratahs, and has won nine caps for Australia, the last against France in Brisbane in 2008. © ESPN Sports Media Ltd.
