Springbok centre Wynand Olivier has agreed a new two-year contract with the Bulls.

The 27-year-old midfielder was the subject of enquiries from European clubs, but has opted to commit to playing Super Rugby in Pretoria until 2013.

Capped 32 times by South Africa, Olivier joins Deon Stegmann, Gerhard van den Heever and Stefan Watermeyer in agreeing a new deal at Loftus Versfeld.

"We will be going through bit of a rebuilding phase next year, so I am keen to stick around and help to ease the transition. I am enjoying my rugby at the Bulls and wants to be part of a successful team as well," Olivier said.

Bulls boss Frans Ludeke welcomed the news, adding: "He is a world class player and a Bulls player to the core. It is great to plan for the future knowing a proven champion like Wynand will be around."
