Sharks flanker Jean Deysel has been banned for two weeks for a dangerous tackle during the Super Rugby clash with the Waratahs last Saturday. Deysel was found guilty by a SANZAR hearing in Durban on Tuesday after he has cited for an illegal challenge on Waratahs centre Tom Carter during the Sharks' 26-21 victory in Durban. The 26-year-old received an immediate yellow card for the incident and will miss the Sharks' matches against the Lions and the Cheetahs. However judicial officer Peter Ingwersen ruled that it was a lower level offence and Deysel will be free to return for the Sharks' final regular season game against the Bulls as they push for a place in the end of season playoffs. © ESPN Sports Media Ltd.
