Richie McCaw is in doubt for the Crusaders' match against the Super Rugby-leading Hurricanes at Westpac Stadium on Saturday having been knocked out momentarily in the Red-and-Blacks' victory over the Blues on Saturday.

Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder said McCaw's availability would depend on results of medical tests this week.

"There are a set of procedures that will be followed by a doctor and if he passes them he should be fine [to play]," Blackadder told Radio Sport. "He looked pretty good in the sheds but we'll see how he rolls out."
