Hosts Romania will hope to make it two wins from two when they tackle the Southern Kings in the second round of the Nations Cup at the Stadionul National Arcul de Triumf on Wednesday.

The Oaks narrowly defeated defending champions Namibia 13-11 in the opening game of the tournament with their sole try coming from No.8 Daniel Carpo. The Southern Kings, coached by Alan Solomons, enjoyed their first outing in the Nations Cup with a convincing 31-17 victory over Georgia on Friday. The Port Elizabeth side included former Bath captain Luke Watson, who was in superb form, but the headlines were stolen by Siyanda Grey who went onto claim an impressive hat-trick of tries.

Elsewhere, Georgia will face the Argentina Jaguars who suffered a shock first-round defeat to Portugal. Portugal just edged the Jaguars 25-21 in an inspired performance and will now face Namibia.
