Kurtley Beale has rejoined the full Melbourne Rebels training squad, completing training and team logistics on Monday morning, and is under consideration to face the Chiefs in Super Rugby round 12 on Friday night.

Beale, the 2011 John Eales Medal winner and 2012 Rebels players' player, has undertaken a five-week off-field program established after collaboration between the Australian Rugby Union, the Rebels, the Rugby Union Players Association and the player himself. He will train with the full squad on Tuesday, in the Rebels' only team training session in the lead up to the fixture against the Chiefs.

Beale will continue to undertake his off-field program, and Rebels head coach Damien Hill will consult the playing group and will be guided by the player's training form and integration within the team before he is made available for selection.
