Highlanders winger Tino Nemani will make his Super Rugby debut against the Southern Kings at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth on Saturday.

Nemani replaces Phil Burleigh, who did not travel to South Africa after sustaining a shoulder injury in the round 12 victory against the Sharks.

He is the only change to the starting team that claimed the Highlanders' first win of the Super Rugby season, with breakaway Mose Tuiali'i replacing Elliot Dixon on the bench after recovering from the knee injury that ruled him out for three weeks.

Highlanders: Ben Smith; Tino Nemani, Tamati Ellison, Shaun Treeby, Hosea Gear; Colin Slade, Aaron Smith; TJ Ioane, John Hardie, Jarrad Hoeata; Josh Bekhuis, Brad Thorn; Chris King, Andrew Hore (captain), Tony Woodcock. Replacements: Liam Coltman, Ma'afu Fia, Mose Tuiali'i, Joe Wheeler, Fumiaki Tanaka, Hayden Parker, Jason Emery.
