Melbourne Rebels will officially appeal against the one-match suspension handed to Lachlan Mitchell after the winger was found guilty of lifting British & Irish Lions counterpart Simon Zebo at AAMI Park. Judicial officer Nigel Hampton, QC, found Mitchell guilty after the winger was cited under Law 10.4 (j) Lifting a player from the ground and dropping that player into the ground whilst that player's feet are still off the ground, such that the player's upper body comes into contact with the ground. Justice Lex Mpati from South Africa will hear the appeal via video conference on Wednesday, July 3, at 6.00pm (EST). © ESPN Australia / New Zealand
