The line-up for this year's Super Rugby play-offs has been confirmed following the final round of the regular season.
The Crusaders will play host to the Reds and the Brumbies will tackle the Cheetahs in the semi-final qualifiers next weekend with the Chiefs and the Bulls waiting for them in the final four.
The Chiefs claimed the New Zealand Conference title with a 26-16 victory over the Blues in Auckland on Saturday. The result also took them to the top of the overall table and means they will have home advantage for as long as they remain in the play-offs as the Bulls, their only rivals for the top spot, slumped to a 30-13 defeat to the Stormers in the final game of the round.
Both sides are guaranteed a place in the semi-finals and will enjoy a week off as the battle for the remaining two spots plays out. The Crusaders secured home advantage in the first round of the play-offs next weekend with a 25-17 victory over the Hurricanes in Christchurch on Friday night. The Crusaders' reward is a home tie against the Reds after they secured the runners-up spot in the Australian Conference and fifth place on the overall ladder with a narrow 14-12 victory over the Waratahs.
The Brumbies were already confirmed as the Australian Conference winners and had a chance to force their way into the top two overall but were beaten 21-15 by the Western Force. That result set up a date with the Cheetahs who enjoyed a bye in this round safe in the knowledge they had already qualified for the play-offs.
