Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder has named an unchanged line-up for the Super Rugby semi-final against the Chiefs at Waikato Stadium in Hamilton on Saturday, with Richie McCaw again on the bench from where he returned to first-class rugby in the 38-9 qualifying final victory over Queensland Reds.

The teams have played each other in 21 Super Rugby matches, with the Crusaders winning 14 and scoring on average nine points more per game, but the Chiefs have won three of the past four encounters including in the 2012 semi-finals.

The sides played each other twice this season, recording a win apiece. The Chiefs won 28-19 in Super Rugby round 15, since when the Crusaders have claimed five victories in succession - including a 43-15 win against the Chiefs in round 19.
