Brumbies coach Jake White has maintained faith in the team that defeated the Cheetahs and the Bulls in the past two weeks, naming an unchanged line-up to face the Chiefs in the Super Rugby final at Waikato Stadium in Hamilton on Saturday night.

White had reportedly considered making changes to his team to ensure freshness after their physical Super Rugby semi-final against the Bulls in Pretoria and their tough travel schedule from Canberra to South Africa and back before heading to Hamilton as they chase their third Super Rugby title in their first finals campaign since defeating the Crusaders in 2004.

But he stuck with the players who have done the job, saying the Chiefs were a good side that deserved respect.

"They are the champions, they have been here before and are playing at home, so for our guys to beat the Chiefs will take a huge effort," White said. "Our players have worked hard to get to this final and I can assure you they are not thinking of leaving here without another Brumbies championship.

"At this stage of the season it's nice to be making consistent selections and keeping the same team together. I'm pleased with how the season has unfolded so far but we have one more challenge to overcome before we can be completely satisfied."

White has never previously named an unchanged team for three successive matches during his two-and-a-half-year tenure in Canberra.

Brumbies: Jesse Mogg; Henry Speight, Tevita Kuridrani, Christian Lealiifano, Clyde Rathbone; Matt Toomua, Nic White; Ben Mowen, George Smith, Peter Kimlin, Sam carter, Scott Fardy; Ben Alexander, Stephen Moore, Scott Sio. Replacements: Siliva Siliva, Ruan Smith, Fotu Auelua, Colby Faingaa, Ian Prior, Andrew Smith Joe Tomane
