Western Force flanker Hugh McMeniman has been suspended for one week for striking Reds wing Ben Lucas during the Force's win over the Reds on Saturday in Perth. This means McMeniman will be unavailable for the Force's must win clash against the Brumbies that could determine whether they secure a place in the final.

Although the entry point for striking with the knee is a three-week suspension, the Judicial Officer accepted a plea of guilty and imposed a one-week suspension.
