Metcalfe blow for Caledonians`

Glasgow Caledonians will be without Scotland hero Glenn Metcalfe for their trip to Caerphilly in the Welsh/Scottish League Premier Division on Saturday.

Gavin Scott is set to step in as hooker as the Reds go in search of a second win of the season against the struggling Welsh side.

"Glenn has bruising on his right thigh which he picked up in the international against England and it has not cleared up yet, so Barry Irving will start at full-back," said coach Richie Dixon.
