Matt Toomua and Nic White were the standout Australian-based Super Rugby players in round 11, the halves each playing a pivotal role as the Brumbies stamped their authority over the Chiefs in Canberra.

The pair each advertised their Wallabaies credentials in fine style as the Brumbies stamped themselves leading Super Rugby title candidates, each earning eight points from the judges in the latest Greg Growden Medal voting.

Toomua and knows, however, that he must continue to perform at a similar high standard if he is to claim a Test jumper, as the Brumbies face a tough four-week window featuring matches against the Crusaders and the table-topping Sharks before they travel to South Africa.

Also on Anzac Day, South African Jacques Potgieter continued his fine individual season for New South Wales with 7.5 points against the Blues.

Ian Prior topped the polling for Western Force, for whom Ben McCalman produced another good effort, while Beau Robinson was the top performer for Queensland Reds against the Hurricanes in Wellington.
